Where Gabby’s Been This Week…
Milk Market mobbed. Lunch hour. Poke and pastrami. Need to try much more
Frank Bonnano’s Milk Market is a hopping spot with 13 of his restaurants features in a huge space. Walk around and pick what you want-order and pay-find a seat and enjoy—we had the tuna poke and pastrami sandwich ($20)-nee to try the fish sandwich, bao buns., lobster roll, and pizza of course. There is dessert, drinks, wine and more too. Open all day and night-get down and enjoy it all-and the scene.

Bittersweet remains tops with marvelous food, wine and service. The most innovative and delicious food with gorgeous presentation.
Bittersweet is by far one of Denver’s best restaurants. It is beautiful and inviting with gorgeous patios as well. The menu changes often and has the most intriguing dishes-that all taste divine. Never sure, but wow is the outcome. Wines and service are tops too. Compressed watermelon with lump crab, smoked burrata with caramelized tomatoes, strawberry rhubarb consommé, and ravioli, tagliatelle, and gnocchi are a few starters. Mains of steak, a “banh mi” with glazed pork belly, salmon with ream cheese gnudi, halibut, a pork rib-eye and duck make decisions impossible. You’ll be happy no matter what you choose. Of course, there are decadent desserts. Bittersweet is just plain wonderful!!!
BIJU LITTLE CURRY
Biju’s Little Curry catered a great party!! They do a fantastic job!
Biju’s shops are great fun-and the food rocks. Go down the line and start with samosas, hummus, spicy potato chips. Then comes chop salad, rice, potatoes, eggplant, mild or spicy chicken curry, veggies, and roti too. If you need catering done, this is a fantastic option as well
The JW Marriott was the place where everyone congregated to have 150 family members enjoy a lovely brunch and lots of wonderful pictures and stories.
unexpected divine treat when out of towners came and we went to El Five-these foodies adored it as much as I do-want one in their home town-but it is ours-and they-and we were beyond thrilled-fun to see such impressed happy people
There is nothing better!! The service, the ambience, the food-wow!! There were lots of us-and specials tonight too-paella is wow-and then the med plate, matzo ball dumplings, crab salad (my new fav), cauliflower-amazed all-crab and lamb ribs. And it was all gone-we are so lucky to have this place in Denver.

Vert Kitchen continues to make so many happy with sandwiches, salads and more all divine from this tiny spot. The best. This tiny spot wows all-enter and place your oder and they will bring it. There are seats inside and more outside seating although both become precious at prime times. The menu has breakfast specials before 11 am and follows with divine salads and sandwiches-all homemade from scratch-amazing turkey, the best bLT around, and the frittata is outrageous. It’s simple but so wonderful.
A birthday party at Gaetano’s. Lots of different entrees and a fun celebration
Gaetano’s is always a fun spot-lots of action with super food, huge portions, and reasonable prices-and Frank Sinatra sings on some nights. The group of 13 had so many choices of salads and then eggplant parm, gnocchi,, chicken caprese, chicken piccata, spaghetti and meatballs or sausage , and everyone was delighted-these are on the menu all the time with lots more-always a fish, mussels, and pizza too. Decadent desserts are a must to end the fun.

Ad Hominem is one of Denver’s latest. We had a very good time with excellent food and great service . Steak and trout were our entrees and cocktails and wine were very special.
Ad Hominem is one of the latest openings in town. The space is very pretty-contemporary and comfortable with a huge bar that spans the room on one side and comfortable seating on the other part of the space. They have a great happy hour, terrific wine list and cocktails and then he regular menu. So many appetizers with several salad and vegetable presentations, pork rillettes and more. Entrees of a divine steak, trout, chicken, and vegetarian please all. Lamb stars here and along with chops, the shaved leg of lamb has a great presentation and taste. All the dishes have unique sides on the plate. End with decadent deserts and don’t forget the weekend brunch.
