Sterling Robinson, GM, told us about North County and the soon to open Officer’s Clb. It is also in Lowry-Hanger 2-where Masterpiece Kitchen was. It is opening June 13-sounds every exciting.

The summer starts with big excitement as we go to Family Jones for a Gabby dinner. This is the divine place where all the spirits are made here-and the food matches the high standards. We’ll have a different cocktail with each divine course—and a special night in the new, exciting place that is bringing raves from all. Lucky us! Annette’s continues to amaze. Bibb salad and whole fish are fabulous. Wow!!

This place never fails. The service is perfect, the food awesome, and everyone is so welcome. Every dish is great-and a treat. And don’t miss the chocolate chip cookie—soooo much chocolate!!!!

A surprisingly delicious diversion from the norm, Newk’s is out in Lone Tree. Theres one in Arvada, and more locations coming soon. Tasty sandwiches, soups, and salads. Great staff too. THIS IS A Chain and the food is really good. The soups were great-and sandwiches too. They have salads and pizza and lots of desserts. www.Newks.com

Bright Marten is great fun-very new and a treat-service great and a terrific bar-we had the mushroom po boy and the Juicy Lucy burger-both big hits-and they come with fries or salad. The menu has soup, sandwiches, salads, and tons of entrees too. We are working our way through-salmon and risotto last time-more bar food fun this time-they serve all throughout the entire restaurant.

Atelier is just plain awesome. We went for bouillabaisse with curry and we were thrilled!! He just does it all so well!

Atelier is rated by all who visit as the best place in Denver. And it is with its charm-small and delightful, and fabulous food served like painting from a fine gallery. It is all perfect. Every appetizer is so exciting, and entrees are perfect. We both wanted bouillabaisse-with curry-the curry cuz of our trip and we were thrilled. It is perfect!!

Tables for a bday. We both had the Caesar and trout. And loved it. And the patio is open too. Tables is always a treat-great food and service-and you can hear!! They will be closed next week.

The menu features pork, a burger, fish, chicken, lamb and vegetarian. At Tables they wil accommodate any dining preferences as well-making it easy to dine here at the this special spot.

You might not think that Ultreia has this but they make the best sandwiches in town!! The leg of lamb and the tuna salad are awesome. Ultreia has become a favorite with its great ambience, super service and great Spanish tapas—and more. Dinner is a big hit and now lunch might just be one of the best in town! And the patio-day or night-is beautiful-and shaded too. What a great job they do here.

 

 

SUPER MEGA BIEN

Super Mega Bien is super fabulous. Great looking and Dana does it again. Dim sum on red carts and then some of the best entrees for sharing. The fish stew in broth and the chicken are heavenly. What a great place !

Dana Rodriguez and Tony plus Tabatha do it again-from Work and Class, Super Mega Bien rocks. The space is great looking-high ceilings, great lighting, bright paint and posters, comfy seating plus a chefs bar and regular bar-and patio-dim sum comes on a red cart-choose-choose them all!!! Some favs were the squash blossom and the potato croquette-and the lamb chop-and———–and then the large share entrees-the fish stew is the most heavenly dish, gorgeous to see-better to eat

Then the half chicken is awesome—and the veggie paella and the salad—well cannot say enough about all-and not a dessert fan-we devoured the pear filled empanada with cream and candied walnuts—yeah to you all and congratulations
